The Port Arthur Historic Site Management Authority (PAHSMA) is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Food & Beverage Assistants to join our Tourism Operations team.

Based at the iconic Port Arthur Historic Site, this casual opportunity offers the chance to work in a unique World Heritage-listed destination, welcoming visitors from across Australia and around the world while delivering exceptional hospitality experiences.

About the Role

As a Food & Beverage Assistant, you will play an important role in delivering high-quality hospitality services across our cafés and visitor facilities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing friendly and professional customer service
  • Preparing and serving food and beverages
  • Operating point-of-sale systems and handling transactions
  • Replenishing stock and assisting with stock movement across site
  • Maintaining food safety, cleanliness, and presentation standards
  • Supporting a positive and collaborative team environment

About You

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Have excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Enjoy working as part of a team
  • Be reliable, adaptable, and professional
  • Be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
  • Have previous hospitality, tourism, retail, or customer service experience (desirable)
