Join our SCA Dubbo Sales team, where your success is at the heart of everything we do.

What does your day to day look like?

  • Strategically manage all resources to maximise profitability, oversee budget performance, and lead new business development and client retention initiatives.
  • Provide strong leadership, foster a positive team culture aligned with SCA values, and engage in regular professional development and coaching.
  • Coach, mentor, and provide in-field training to the Sales team, supporting performance, growth, and collaboration across departments.
  • Build and maintain key relationships with clients, agencies, internal teams, and external stakeholders, including representing SCA publicly as needed.
  • Manage local office facilities, ensure compliance with broadcasting licenses and relevant legislation, and handle legal or business matters affecting the stations.
  • Prepare revenue and lost business reports, support local content and promotional strategies, and contribute to cross-market initiatives and leadership forums.

What you’ll need:  

  • Possess attributes such as high levels of energy, EQ, humility, authenticity, and transparency.
  • Be financially and commercially literate, driven and focused.
  • Experience as a people leader, with media sales leadership experience also highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate teams and individuals to consistently perform at high levels.
  • Strong strategic vision and the ability to use financial and business information to inform decisions and implement strategic initiatives.
  • The ability to rapidly build trust and rapport with external stakeholders, with a passion for local industry and community within your market. 
  • A thirst for knowledge, proactively across local, national, global news and industry trends
  • Proven success in driving local media sales growth, ideally with an established network of contacts in the Dubbo and broader Central West business community.
  • Results-driven leadership experience with the confidence and experience to set and exceed sales targets, while fostering team engagement and accountability.
