Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist graduate team with recruitment and yield events such as in-person and virtual open houses, information sessions and orientation, online chats, graduate fair and conference exhibition preparation and scheduling recruiter appointments. Schedule and coordinate virtual events via Teams. May moderate virtual info sessions with graduate recruiters. Utilize Slate to create events and monitor registration, follow-up with confirmation emails, SMS, and phone calls. Travel/Logistics Coordination. Assist Recruiters with travel schedules and logistics. Gather and prepare print and swag materials for on-campus and international travel events. Graduate Student Campus Visit Coordination. Schedule and coordinate daily visits of prospective graduate students, scheduling all aspects of the visit including faculty appointments, class visit, campus tours, etc.  Provide appropriate communication to the visiting student, confirming and providing details regarding the student’s visit, including confirmation messages, directions to campus, parking information etc. Marketing and Outreach Recruitment and Retention -Target Audiences: Prospective and Currently Enrolled Students. Develop creative marketing and outreach strategies for social media execution including Instagram, FB,

Tik-Tok, Twitter and blogs promoting graduate admissions and graduate support services initiatives. (Scholarships, fellowships, spotlight on student life, master’s and Doctoral accomplishments, career and library services, gallery, and archival services, writing center/dissertation assistance, student testimonials, special populations i.e., international, veteran, etc.) General Office Duties. Provide a welcoming and inclusive environment virtually and in-person. Answer the Graduate Affairs main phone line and direct calls to the appropriate staff.  Monitors the shugrad@shu.edu main email account and assigns appropriate staff for follow-up.  Maintain inventory of graduate recruitment admissions supplies, signage, and related materials. Provide campus tours to prospective graduate students. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.


Required Qualifications:

Strong written and verbal communication skills. Creative and curious mindset with the ability to appeal to and engage with graduate students via digital and in-person communication. Proficiency in relevant social media platforms. Knowledge of key issues in the graduate search process. Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

 

Desired Qualifications:

Previous experience with Slate or a related CRM platform is a plus.
