JOB SUMMARY:

The Sister Rose Thering Fund (SRTF) for Education in Jewish-Christian Studies seeks a student with excellent communication and organizational skills, social media savvy, and an outstanding work ethic. This student will be responsible for general office work, for working on the Sister Rose social media profile, and for communicating with a diverse constituency. The student will report to the Executive Director of the Fund and will help prepare materials for monthly Board meetings (printing, scanning, and organizing), for any necessary research, and for receiving phone calls in the SRTF office. Students will interact with the Executive Director, with members of the SRTF Board of Trustees, and with members of the larger community.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist with basic administrative functions of an office. Filing, sorting, collating, maintaining records, light office duties and running errands. Communication with the SRTF Board and Executive Director. Student will also be asked to work on our social media presence and provide essential support at 3 events. The successful candidate will need to be available for 2-3 evening events and one event on a Sunday afternoon.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Seton Hall Student. Excellent work ethic, communication, and organizational skills. Social media savvy. Ability to work independently.

 

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Social media savvy. Capacity for simple forms of research.

 

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS TO APPLICANTS:
