The Manager of Digital Media Production will oversee the planning, implementation, and supervision of all digital media projects, including video production, graphic design, multimedia production, live streaming, and live event support. This role is responsible for ensuring the high quality of digital media content, working closely with internal departments to support the University's strategic goals. The Manager will lead the digital media team, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise and mentor the digital media team, providing direction on creative projects and ensuring alignment with the University's branding and messaging standards. Coordinate the workflow of the digital media team, prioritizing tasks and projects to meet deadlines and organizational goals. Facilitate collaboration between the digital media team and other departments, fostering a positive and productive working environment.
Lead the production of high-quality digital media content, including videos, graphics, and multimedia presentations, that support the University's strategies for teaching and learning. Oversee the live streaming and recording of events, ensuring a seamless and professional experience for all viewers. Manage the setup, operation, and troubleshooting of multimedia equipment for live events, including audio, video, and lighting systems. Knowledge and skills in of Digital Media Production hardware and software including the Adobe Creative Suite.
Manage digital media projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgetary constraints. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements, provide creative direction, and deliver solutions that meet the University's objectives. Evaluate and implement new technologies and tools that can improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the digital media production process.
Stay informed about the latest trends and best practices in digital media production, video editing, graphic design, and live event support. Proactively seek opportunities to enhance the quality and impact of the University's digital media content through innovative approaches and techniques. Assist with training and knowledge of digital production spaces on campus and research trends and new techniques for professional development for the digital media team.
Required Qualifications:
Knowledge and skills in multimedia production including video, audio, live event, and graphic production. Knowledge in the Adobe Creative Suite, and production techniques.
Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Production, Video Production, or similar Creative Production field. Experience may substitute for education requirements, if candidate has previous professional experience in Multimedia Production, Video Production, or work in a creative production field.
