JOB SUMMARY
Student worker for the Center for Catholic Studies for the 2025-2026 Academic Year. (Must be eligible for Federal Work Study)
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Student Work Study will be responsible for general office duties at the Center for Catholic Studies, including filing, mailing, and organization. Additional duties include assistance with academic journals and website maintenance, including content creation, social media, research, and writing. The position will support the staff of the Center and its Institutes.
FEDERAL WORK STUDY REQUIREMENT
YES -- Federal Work Study eligibility required (check your 2025/26 Financial Aid Award Offer)
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be eligible for Federal Work Study (Consult your Financial Aid Award Package on your SHU Portal)
- Understanding of and appreciation for Seton Hall's Catholic Mission
- Excellent writing skills
- Ability to proofread
- Ability to take direction and constructive criticism
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in an office setting
- A keen eye for design
- Event planning experience
- Experience with and ability to learn computer programs (Outlook, Office, Teams, etc.)
- Previous experience in a church or ministry setting (youth group, religious education, or campus ministry)
