Performs routine maintenance on kitchen equipment and all HVACR and heating equipment. Maintains and repairs all types of kitchen equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Troubleshoots and repairs packaged a/c equipment, split a/c equipment, chillers, pumps, motors, boilers, furnaces and ancillary equipment. Monitors the University’s building automation system to identify and respond to problems. Repairs and installs refrigeration piping, steam piping, condensate piping and water piping. Installs refrigeration equipment and air conditioning equipment up to 25 tons. Works on electrical systems up to 480 volt a.c.
Required Qualifications:
High School diploma
Local 68 Apprenticeship Graduate or attendee
Minimum of 5 years of certifiable commercial or industrial air conditioning/refrigeration experience
Proficient in pipe threading, soldering and brazing
Knowledge and experience with building automation systems (ALC)

NJ Qualified Journeymen Electrical license

New Jersey 1C Blue seal license
NJ HVACR Contractor license
Universal CFC certificate
Valid NJ driver’s license

$46.65 per hour
