Serve as an ambassador for the University by providing tours of campus, attending virtual events and attending large scale admissions events.
Serve as a resource to prospective students and family members for the Office of Admissions over the summer by engaging with them via phone, email and in person.
Provide a student perspective on University life.
Attend and actively participate in all required meetings.
Attend and actively participate in all required training programs.
Have basic experience with computers and familiarity with the University e-mail system and PirateNet.
Assist with a variety of manual tasks such as moving boxes, filing etc.
Ability to effectively handle administrative tasks such as answering the phone, filing, copying, processing mail, etc.
Disseminate appropriate information to prospective students and family members in an effective and timely fashion.
Arrive on time for all work obligations.
Possess a basic knowledge of University policies, procedures, and regulations.
Be familiar with University offices, departments, and resources.
Work independently and in groups, sometimes under pressure.
Have an understanding of the Mission of the University.
Must be able to work in-office and Saturday tour shifts over the summer.
