Responsibilities:

  • - Must serve as a Program Leader, supervising student groups of 5-20, with service-learning partners in the community at least twice a week from 2:30-5pm (Monday-Friday). If unable to commit to a twice a week schedule, you must be able to serve as a Program Leader for one of our flexible service-learning programs (Tuesday/Thursday evenings from 5-9pm) or Saturdays 12-2pm. We anticipate that most programs will be remote for fall 2021.
    - Daily, weekly, and monthly work will include assisting with research projects, preparing activities for after-school programs, public relations, community outreach, and event planning. Work may also consist of assisting with data entry, typing, social media management, answering phones, preparation of mailings, and other clerical tasks.
    - Represent CCRE at campus events including CCRE sponsored events, involvement fairs, and open houses.
    - Be willing to take initiative to create new service-learning projects and programs.

Qualifications:

- Professional attitude, good written and oral communication skills, attention to detail, ability to stay self-motivated, and leadership skills to supervise peers are required.
- Competency in Microsoft Office Apps: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.
- Ability to commit to a consistent schedule.
- Ability to work between 2:30-5pm at least twice a week (or other times outlined above).
- Must be Federal Work Study eligible.

- Preferred experience in Journey of Transformation Service Lab class or other service-learning classes.
- Preferred previous community service experience.
