Responsibilities:

Duties and responsibilities for each priority are as follows:
Priority 1: Website development using WordPress. Applicants for this position will develop the Project WILLD website in consultation with the Principal investigator and utilizing resources and supports provided by the university. That is, the applicant will attend workshops and work with TLTC staff to learn the design and implementation of word press, while meeting the project needs. This individual will learn a lot but must have basic knowledge of the program to be considered.
Priority 2: Data management assistant will support data entry and verification and will be expected to run basic descriptive and correlation analyses including measures of central tendency, histograms and distributions, frequency tables and cross-tabulations, as well as bi variate pearson or spearman correlation analyses. The individual must be familiar with current reporting standards set forth by the American Psychological Association (APA) for reporting results in manuscript form. The individual will create a lot of tables and figures for research reporting and learn a lot about data management and reporting using socialbehavioral data collected as part of the study.
Priority 3: Language and literacy assessor will support data collection and analyses related to language and literacy measures being implemented in the study. These include standardized and experimental measures of oral language, reading, and writing. Applicants for this priority must have some coursework and/or experience in working with students or patients as part of educational or social behavioral interactions. Individuals who apply for this priority will learn how to conduct standardized and experimental assessments and complete the subsequent analyses.
Qualifications:

Must have proficient spoken and written communication skills that can support a hybrid work environment. Must be good at time management and meeting deadlines. Must be able to meet on the IHS campus as needed. Additional requirements by priority are as follows:
Priority 1 - Experience with word press or similar and ability to participate in university sponsored workshops supporting wordpress.
Priority 2 - At least two graduate level statistics courses, experience with SPSS or similar (compatible) program.
Priority 3 - At least two courses in child development, psychology, education, or related.
