Duties and Responsibilities:
Engage with prospective graduate school candidates to provide timely information regarding graduate programs, respective admissions and application requirements and the School overall; facilitate introduction with other School representatives as needed;
Manage all Slate admissions records on a regular basis to ensure required documents are
submitted; prepare applications to ‘ready for review’ status for the Assistant Dean and Graduate
Admissions Committee;
• Coordinate and participate in webinars and in-person information sessions;
• Update/input communication interactions with all records via Slate;
• Work with SHU Graduate Central Processing office for weekly reports and
troubleshooting when necessary;
• Represent the School at in-person and virtual graduate recruitment fairs (local and out of state travel is involved);
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure all office operations are in sync at all times;
• Delegate tasks to work-study student(s) as needed;
• Assist with industry research on trends and opportunities;
• Miscellaneous tasks and projects as needed.
Required Qualifications:
• Strong communications, presentation and writing skills;
• Advanced organizational skills; keen attention to detail; experience with Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel, Powerpoint, and social media platforms, previous administrative experience is a plus;
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver under tight deadlines;
• Flexibility to customize correspondence for various audiences including domestic and international;
• Initiative to start projects and manage from beginning to end;
• Team player committed to promoting the School of Diplomacy and International Relations with enthusiasm
• Commitment to office functions and goals; flexibility to work during evening hours and weekends when necessary (not to exceed weekly max hours);
• Creativity that leads to improved internal (SHU) and external (competitors) processes;
• Ability and willingness to learn new content and systems including Slate CRM system, and online event systems
• Professional appearance and conduct at all times;
• Ability to comply with data privacy and confidentiality regulations
• Candidates must be enrolled as full-time graduate degree-seeking students at Seton Hall University in good academic standing
Desired Qualifications:
Previous experience with Slate (or related CRM platforms) is a plus.
Candidates must be admitted to a Seton Hall graduate program and must enroll as full-time students
