Role and Responsibilities
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Total Rewards Specialist to join our team on a contract basis. This role focuses on managing day-to-day operations within the Total Rewards function, with a key emphasis on supporting the Total Rewards operation and transition of our payroll systems. Ideal candidates will bring expertise in compensation and benefits, a knack for system transitions, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Total Rewards Operation
- Administer compensation and benefits programs in line with the Company’s policies.
- Prepare reports and analyze data relating to rewards programs and payroll efficiency.
- Support and maintain accurate documentation of managed total rewards processes.
Payroll Transition Support
- Participate and collaborate with HRIS and IT teams in system transition project meetings.
- Participate in user-acceptance-testing (UAT) of system configurations to ensure accuracy of settings.
- Provide hands-on support during implementation phases, resolving issues and ensuring timely completion of project milestones.
Process Improvement
- Identify and implement opportunities to streamline total rewards processes.
Qualifications
- Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related discipline.
- Minimum 3-5 years’ solid experience in payroll processing and administration. Candidates with experience in consumer products, retail, or logistics are highly valued for their transferable skills and ability to navigate similar operational challenges.
- Sound knowledge of the Employment Ordinance, MPF, tax regulations and related legal regulatory in HK and in Asia Pacific region.
- Experience in payroll system transitions or HRIS implementation is highly preferred.
- Analytical mindset with attention to details and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications. Experience in SAP system is highly valued.
Desirable Qualities
- Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with changing priorities, especially during system transitions.
- Precision in ensuring payroll and rewards accuracy, compliance with regulations, and error-free documentation.
- Strong in numerical skills and ability to handle and interpret massive or complex data, identify patterns, and generate meaningful insights for decision-making.
- Familiarity with HRIS platforms and payroll software, alongside the ability to learn and adapt to new systems quickly.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and contribute to a smooth system transition process.
- Enthusiastic about identifying inefficiencies and recommending innovative solutions to enhance operations.
- Maintaining highest level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive employee and payroll data.
