YOUR DREAM OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking an IT Infrastructure Tech Lead to join our IT Operations team in a hybrid working capacity. In this role, you will serve as a 2IC to the Group Head of Infrastructure and Operations, supporting IT Infrastructure across our Head Office and external environments. Key responsibilities will include handling BAU L3 escalations, developing and optimizing server infrastructure, managing security tickets, ensuring network connectivity, and overseeing numerous applications. 

You will also further develop your skills by supporting in project work such as implementing the infrastructure backbone for the Omni-Channel Project, contributing to a Server OS Upgrade, advancing the cybersecurity and Azure/Cloud stack, refreshing core switches and firewalls, expanding global operations in India, and much more!

Overseeing the offshore infrastructure operations team, you will bring experience in leading team members, managing third-party MPS, and driving operational IT excellence. You will also play a key role in introducing new ideas and implementing innovative strategies to further mature the environment.

Get excited to: 

• Experience with SAN storage solutions (primarily Dell, HP, EMC)
• Experience with Virtualisation technologies such as VMware or Microsoft Hyper-V
• Experience with Hyper Converged Technologies (such as Nutanix, VXRail)
• Solid experience in Microsoft infrastructure implementation and support (including Azure, DHCP/DNS, Active Directory, HyperV)
• Experience with SCCM or MS Intune
• VDI solutions such as Citrix or Remote Desktop Services
• Security and protection of networks and data
• Server and Network monitoring tools (such as SCOM or SolarWinds)
• Exposure to multi-site IT environments (SDWAN, MPLS)
• Windows desktops and SOE management / MAC OSX desktop management
• ITIL understanding
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Broad understanding of relevant and emerging IT technologies and solutions

THE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE YOU OFFER US

• IT University Qualification highly regarded (e.g. Computer Science Degree)
• Microsoft Certifications or equivalent knowledge
• Accreditation with networking (e.g. Cisco)
• 6+ years' relevant commercial IT industry project delivery experience
• 2 years demonstrated supervisory skills including the ability to lead and manage a team, make decisions, and determine priorities
• Broad understanding of relevant and emerging IT technologies and solutions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Hands on experience with IT implementation projects
• Experience working in Retail or large multiple sites environments
• Solid experience in Microsoft infrastructure implementation and support (including Azure, DHCP/DNS, Active Directory, HyperV and SCCM)
• Cloud solutions experience (Azure, Office 365 and AWS)
• Experience with SAN storage solutions (primarily Dell, HP, EMC)
• Experience in VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V
• Understanding of VDI solutions such as Citrix or Remote Desktop Services
• Exposure to multi-site IT environments (MPLS, BGP)
• Security and protection of networks and data
• Experience in MDM solutions
• VCP (VMWare Certified Professional) – desirable but not mandatory
