Position Function:

Define systems, program, and job flow specifications and produce efficient programs and operational procedures to satisfy client requests. Design and implement modifications to the interrelation of databases, files and records within programs in consultation with higher-level staff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Analyze technical and functional application specifications
2. Design program logic to meet technical and functional specifications
3. Establish file requirements and processing routines
4. Design, code, and test application software, as well as modifies existing software to reflect changes in system requirements or hardware configuration
5. Code efficiently adhering to established programming standards
6. Prepare and maintain quality documentation to manage program development and revisions
7. Complete assigned tasks meeting deadlines
8. Perform problem determination and analysis
9. Respond to and solve problems
10. Prepare instructions and user documentation for users / operators
11. Modify programs to increase operating efficiency
12. Respond to changes in work processes
13. Prepare test data and validate software for accuracy
14. Establish and maintain effective communications with clients and staff
15. Perform other duties as assigned

This position does not have supervisory responsibility.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related field
- One year experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

- Strong programming skills, experience with C# and TSQL preferred.
- Experience with a relational data base management system (preferably SQL Server) and demonstrated ability to assume responsibility for supporting multiple systems.
- Experience with Blackbaud CRM, Blackbaud Internet Solutions preferred.
- Experience or familiarity with web programming languages such as CSS, html, JavaScript and Drupal.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, personal initiative, demonstrated ability to perform with professionalism and produce quality, reliable results.

Working Conditions and Physical Effort

• Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
• No or very limited exposure to physical risk.
• No or very limited physical effort required.
