Position Function:
This position supports the ongoing management and optimization of the CRM software (Slate) for recruitment operations. Responsibilities include configuring the system, developing, executing, and validating platform tests, creating reports tailored to the Center for Distance Education's needs, and providing training to end users. The role proactively identifies opportunities to leverage software features to enhance and streamline recruitment processes. Additionally, this position contributes to data management across multiple recruitment platforms, databases, and web systems to improve user experience and operational efficiency. Remote work may be available for this position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Develop relationships with recruitment, enrollment and onboarding, and promotion staff to evaluate their needs as well as develop and implement plans to meet those needs.
2. Identify and implement automation opportunities and system optimizations to streamline recruitment workflows and enhance user experiences
3. Develop functional specifications and create reports needed by CDE staff.
4. Create ad hoc queries using SQL for data requests and auditing needs.
5. Develop and maintain in house web applications.
6. Coordinate with ITS test plans to ensure that patches, modifications, and updates to the system are thoroughly tested before being migrated into production.
7. Review patches, modifications, and updates to the system to determine impact on current functionality. Recommend system changes for improved workflow, compliance, and/or increased functionality.
8. Evaluate, recommend, and implement various data management processes.
9. Leverage advanced analytics tools to provide predictive and prescriptive insights for optimizing recruitment strategies and decision-making.
10. Create and maintain documentation (e.g., setup documentation, training documentation, user procedures)
11. Provide coordinated delivery of CRM support with the team.
12. Identify ongoing training needs, assist in training plan development, and provide training to end users.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a technology related field from an accredited university
Experience (yrs.): 3 years’ experience
Any equivalent combination of related experience and/or education approved by the Department of Human Resources Management.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
1. Knowledge of the college recruitment process.
2. Solid understanding of Slate Customer Relations Management (CRM) software.
3. Knowledge of SQL including creating, modifying and troubleshooting queries.
4. Extensive problem-solving experience working with all aspects of the system including troubleshooting and determining best alternatives for implementing new procedures.
5. Extensive knowledge of HTML and CSS implementation and best practices, including responsive design.
6. Extensive knowledge of PHP and MySQL.
7. Extensive knowledge of Pandas and Python for data analytics and processing.
8. Knowledge of data visualization software, such as PowerBi or similar.
9. Proven track record in gathering business requirements, providing change control management, and managing user expectations.
10. Experience working and communicating with various levels both within and outside an organization including senior management, steering committees, technical IT staff, and end- users.
11. Experience developing strong customer relations and managing customer expectations.
12. Familiarity with project management and version control software, such as Git.
13. Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
14. Strong written and oral communication skills.
Working Conditions and Physical Effort
1. Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
2. No or very limited exposure to physical risk.
