Position Function:
Planning, coordination, and execution of strategic donor engagement initiatives for the Bulldog Club and the Mississippi State Athletics Department. This role supports the stewardship and recognition of donors through events, interactive experiences, clear and effective communications, and collaborative programming designed to strengthen constituent relationships and advance the Mississippi State Athletics brand. This position will report to the Senior Director of Donor Engagement and Experience and will be required to work some nights and weekends.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Event Planning and Execution
- Assist in planning, coordination, and execution of stewardship and benefit events for the Bulldog Club under the strategic guidance and direction of the Senior Director.
- Oversee Cristil Society experiences (on-field experiences, custom game day experiences, etc.).
- Oversee the event planning process for all Bulldog Club, Athletics Department, and M-Club events to include creating of invitations
- Collaborate with M-Club and other departments with the assistance of the Senior Director to execute letterwinner events and initiatives as well as reunions.
- Assist in setting up and planning Bulldog Club board meetings, staff retreats, and other internal events or meetings, as requested.
- Donor Engagement & Stewardship
- Assist with the implementation of the Cristil Society stewardship plan.
- Maintain and report tracking of stewardship initiatives including gift history, donor sizes, gifting inventory. Assist with gift ordering, as requested.
- Work with premium operations team to develop, order, and package suite holder gifts for football and baseball seasons.
- Schedule, coordinate and provide on-site tours/walkthroughs for donors or other stakeholders of MSU athletics venues, when requested.
- Assist with donor recognition and gifting based on gifting levels/thresholds as dictated by the overall stewardship plan.
- Assist with budget development, cost estimates, and final expense reporting in coordination with Senior Director of Donor Engagement and Experience.
- Research and implement best practices in donor engagement, stewardship, and event execution.
- Ensure accurate and strategic use of SalesForce and Paciolan to track stewardship initiatives.
- Other Duties
- Management of Left Field Lounges to include thorough and timely communication with Left Field Lounge holders; coordination with Game Operations and other applicable departments throughout the year to execute preseason and post-season move-in/out dates as well as throughout the season to ensure efficient operations of the lounges. In addition, management and communication of game-by-game Left Field Lounge rentals to include communication to renters; stocking and setting lounges.
- Work with team operations to produce donor travel packets for road games to be sent to each donor via traveling donor representative; provide donor information to each programs’ operations team required for flight manifest; provide scouting reports as requested by head coaches.
- Assist in producing and/or updating donor scouting reports, as requested.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in related field with one (1) year of experience in fundraising or related area.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree and 2+ years of fundraising experience at an NCAA institution.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• This role is an integral member of the development team, and the position requires an ability to communicate effectively both in written and oral form.
• Ability to problem-solve in a timely fashion.
• Sensitivity to the needs of a wide range of internal and external constituencies is required.
• The ability to take direction.
• The ability to be flexible, work independently, take initiative, manage multiple projects, prioritize a high-volume of work in a fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines under pressure.
• Familiarity with MS Office suite.
• The ability to manage confidential information with appropriate discretion and tact is essential.
Working Conditions and Physical Effort
• Frequent external imposed deadlines set and revised beyond one’s control; interruptions influence priorities; difficult to anticipate nature or volume of work with certainty beyond a few days; meeting of deadlines and coordination of unrelated activities are key to position; involves conflict-resolution or similar interactions involving emotional issues or stress on a regular basis.
• Occasionally requires lifting, bending, or other physical exertion. Often, it involves exposure to one or more elements such as heat, cold, noise, dirt, chemicals, etc.
• Job frequently requires walking, standing, lifting, sitting, reaching, talking, hearing, and handling objects with hands.
• Requires handling of heavy weight objects up to 100 lbs. on a regular basis and on occasion up to 150 lbs.
• Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.
