Assist the college in the regular and efficient analysis and maintenance of complex data reporting mechanisms and evaluative solutions in accordance with accreditation requirements across the College of Education including CAEP, NASM, NASP, APA, CACREP, etc.

Salary Grade:  13

Area of Specialization:

Assessment and Accreditation

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Provide assistance within the College of Education Dean's Office to develop effective, sustainable reporting and data management solutions for Institutional Effectiveness, data systems, accreditation reports, Annual Performance reports, and accreditation site visits.
2. Monitor for timely and accurate compilation and aggregation of select data elements from assessments and prepare a variety of material in both written and electronic formats.
3. Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns found in data sets to aid the COE in implementing unit, departmental, and/or program improvements.
4. Collaborate with Dean and Associate Deans to collect, analyze, and share data as appropriate with department heads and faculty to make data-driven improvements.
5. Work across Campuses to assist with the national accreditation reporting and reporting required by the Mississippi Department of Education.
6. Work with the Associate Deans on the statewide report card, Title II, IE reports, MDE reports, and IHL reports.
7. Work with the Associate Deans to maintain syllabi for undergraduate and graduate programs, catalog updates, and the College of Education website.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a related field with grants and contracts and/or data.

Preferred Qualifications:

Masters's degree in related field; experience in data analysis; experience with research practices and grants and contracts.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of and experience with statistics Including the use of programs to analyze data such as Excel and SPSS. Knowledge of and skill in working with Microsoft Access. Familiarity with accreditation requirements and procedures.

Working Conditions and Physical Effort

Work is normally performed in a typical Interior/office work environment; no or very limited exposure to physical risk; no or very limited physical effort required.
