Position Function:
This position assists in maintaining and supporting enterprise software systems used by Campus Services to ensure reliable performance and user accessibility. This role involves managing system configurations, user access, updates, integrations, and troubleshooting, while developing reports and documentation to support operations. Will also assist with planning upgrades, improving processes, and staying current with emerging technologies to enhance overall system efficiency and security.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Help configure and maintain AssetWorks AiM software.
2. Monitor application, server, and network performance, troubleshooting, and resolving issues as needed to ensure minimum downtime of services to meet user needs.
3. Manage user accounts, permissions, security roles, and access controls specific to AiM.
4. Coordinate the application of software patches and updates to AiM and its supporting systems.
5. Help plan and test software upgrades for AssetWorks AiM and other related Enterprise Applications.
6. Support integration of AiM with other enterprise or third-party applications.
7. Create reporting to assist with internal processes
8. Some experience with all levels of the software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, systems design, systems development/programming, testing, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise systems.
9. Provide technical assistance by responding to inquiries from others regarding errors, problems, or questions about AiM and related Enterprise Applications.
10. Create and maintain documentation that describes programs, operating procedures, and installations, including but not limited to internal knowledge base, solutions, and project updates.
11. Research and solve problems both independently and as a member of a team.
12. Monitor, track, and report project risks, issues, milestones, and work completed.
13. Experience with local area networks, including TCP/IP, firewalls, wireless, and Ethernet.
14. Maintains a broad knowledge of state-of-the-art technology, equipment, and/or systems; participates in professional development activities as appropriate.
15. Stay updated on industry-wide changes, participate in technical user groups, and attend relevant training classes.
16. Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related field
Experience: 1-2 years of experience with computer hardware and/or software
ABDs or degree pending considered (all but DISS):
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience administering Asset Work's AiM software.
2. Experience programming in Linux environments.
3. Experience in managing and maintaining enterprise systems.
4. Knowledge of cloud-based system solutions.
5. Programming skills in Python, bash, and JAVA.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Knowledge of computer technologies and software applications, including the latest Microsoft Windows OS's and Linux.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve networking issues.
• Knowledge in one or more programming languages such as C, C++, Java, and Python.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills, and personal initiative.
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
Working Conditions and Physical Effort
• Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
