| This position is under the administrative supervision of the Assistant Director of Career Exploration. The Coordinator of the Bulldog Mentor Program and Campus Outreach oversees the planning, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement of the Bulldog Mentor Program, a university-wide initiative that connects students with MSU alumni for personal and professional development. This role also oversees Career Center outreach requests and helps to identify new opportunities for campus engagement to market Career Center services and events. In addition, the Coordinator will supervise and coordinate a team of student Career Ambassadors; who will help to deliver classroom presentations, outreach requests, and peer-to-peer career coaching.
This Coordinator is responsible for developing and executing both the Bulldog Mentor Program’s year-long mentorship plan and campus outreach processes and new initiatives. Duties will include tasks in cross-departmental collaboration, project management, marketing and communication, outreach events, and structured assessment. This position serves as an active team member of the MSU Career Center and will support career events and programs to engage students and alumni in mentoring activities. As this position grows, duties and responsibilities may change as programs are added and/or enhanced or as needs dictate. |

The responsibilities also include monitoring the security of the building and facilitating resolution of any issues or emergency needs within the physical facility.
