Manager of Instructional Media Technology is a position under the administrative supervision of the Director of Information Technology Infrastructure. The Instructional Media Technology unit within Information Technology Infrastructure is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and support of Audio/Video solutions and components in instructional spaces and conference/huddle rooms, along with support of digital signage equipment across MSU campuses. Specific responsibilities of the Manager of Instructional Media Technology include supervision of Instructional Media Technology personnel as well as active participation in the activities and functions of the unit. The manager will be expected to actively work with the Director of Information Technology Infrastructure, other ITS managers, and personnel to plan, implement, maintain, and support the instructional media technology infrastructure of the University.

The Mass Spec Facility Manager supervises the maintenance and training for the liquid chromatography (LC-MS) and gas chromatography (GC-MS) instrumentation in the Chemistry department, including a high-resolution Bruker LC-MS/MS to be acquired in 2024 as part of an NSF Major Research Instrumentation project. They also train students on basic LC-MS use, and assists with managing other analytical research instrumentation based on their expertise.

The National Research and Training Center on Blindness and Low Vision (NRTC) at Mississippi State University invites applications for a Research Associate II or III. The mission of the NRTC is to enhance employment and independent living outcomes for individuals with blindness or low vision through research, training, education, and dissemination. The primary responsibility of this position is to assist with research and training activities under the direction of experienced staff members. The Research Associate II-III will assist senior researchers and other staff in completing research and development activities associated with a federally funded grant. This person will receive mentoring to enhance their research skills, with the goal of assuming leadership responsibilities for research projects in the future.
