| The individual filling this position will function at the professional research level and will collaborate with researchers involved in design and implementation of ASME NQA-1 qualified test systems for nuclear-grade HEPA-filter research. This position will perform engineering research, data analysis, and report preparation. The individual will be expected to evaluate and apply standardized engineering procedures and techniques to research projects. Limited exercise of judgement is required on details of work and in making preliminary selections and adaptations. The individual will be responsible for the development of methods and procedures used by the research team, training of personnel, and ensuring the QA/QC policies and procedures are followed. The individual may be responsible for supervising technicians and students that prepare for testing, collect test data, and perform data reduction. Research activities include developing publications and presentations for national conferences. Some travel may be required |
