| The Department of Plant and Soil Sciences & Department of Agricultural and Biological Engineering in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Mississippi State University is seeking applicants for a 100% Instructor I, II, or III. The successful candidate for this position will hold a 9-month, non-tenure track position. Candidates with a M.S. degree in a related field would qualify for appointment as Instructor I. The incumbent will develop an exemplary educational program, including course development and classroom instruction, in precision agriculture technologies in cooperation with faculty in the Department of Plant and Soil Sciences (PSS) and the Department of Agricultural and Biological Engineering (ABE). Candidates will be expected to teach in the PSS and ABE curricula and may also be involved in advising undergraduate students. |

| The Community Director (CD) provides leadership, management, supervision, and development for residence hall or apartment complex communities. This position
creates a community that fosters student success inside and out of the classroom, and
promotes personal and professional growth for residents. The CD ensures a balance of
high level student development and customer service. This position also promotes an
inclusive living-learning environment and partners with a diverse group of students,
staff, and faculty to develop and implement programs that promote the mission of the
University, the Division of Student Affairs and University Housing. This is a 12 month
live-in position where the CD resides in their assigned on-campus apartment
throughout their employment. The length of appointment will be no more than (4)
years. Annual reappointment is based on performance and funding availability. |

| Mississippi State University (MSU) invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the assistant professor level to start in the fall of 2026. Candidates with research interests in the area of mass spectrometry-based proteomics are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will contribute to the NanoBio Immunoengineering Consortium (NIEC) at MSU. NIEC is a multi-institutional effort in Mississippi supported by the NSF E-RISE RII program. This program focuses on biomolecular interactions with novel nano- and biomaterials, and the successful candidate may be housed in the Department of Biological Sciences, Chemistry, or both. The successful candidate will have a strong record of research excellence and will be expected to develop an independent, externally funded research program. They will also contribute to graduate and undergraduate education through effective and engaging teaching in their discipline. Candidates with experience in technology development and commercialization will receive special consideration.
