| The individual filling this position will function at the professional research level and will collaborate with researchers involved in design and implementation of ASME NQA-1 qualified test systems for nuclear-grade HEPA filter testing and/or research. The individual will assist in the development of methods and procedures used by the research team, perform training of test personnel and/or analytical personnel, and ensure the QA/QC policies and procedures are followed. The individual may be responsible for supervising technicians and students that prepare for testing, collect test data, and perform data reduction and/or supervising technicians and students that perform analytical sampling, log analytical data, and analyze such data. Research activities may include developing publications and presentations for national conferences. Some travel may be required. |

| The Michael W. Hall School of Mechanical Engineering in the Bagley College of Engineering at Mississippi State University invites applicants for a tenure-track/tenured position at the rank of Associate or Full Professor. For qualified candidates, this position can be associated with the Mechanical Engineering Innovation Design and Engineering Education Laboratory (IDEELab) in the area of energy producing and consuming technologies. Successful candidates will be expected to develop internationally recognized, externally funded, sustainable experimental and modeling (including data science) research programs in the area of energy production and use including, but not limited to, carbon capture from combustion products, gas separation technologies, and CO2 utilization and storage. Preferred candidates should show a track record in nationally recognized research and innovation toward transformative technologies, applications, and partnerships with industries. |
