The role

The role is part of CPU Software Ecosystem which develops and maintains RISCV software, with a specific focus on hardware bring-up support and compute library optimisation.

You will:

• Debug and support Linux bootstrap on IMG CPUs
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Perform thorough testing and debugging of RISCV software (libraries, firmware, bootloader)
• Document code, algorithms, and processes to facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration within the team.

You'll have:

• Knowledge of C/C++ programming language.
• Familiarity with software development tools and practices, including version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration.
• Basic problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of CMake for building and managing software projects.

You might also have:

• Understanding of CPU architectures and memory hierarchy
• Experience using software toolchains (gcc or/and clang)
• Experience with Linux kernel and user space
• Basic knowledge of Python programming language
• Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
