The role

We are looking for a Senior FPGA Engineer to work in a team of talented engineers engaged in prototyping GPU and CPU IP’s. We are seeking an experienced engineer with strong technical skills, who thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role offers a great opportunity to work with cutting edge FPGA platforms built with latest and largest devices and eco system. The role offers an ability to provide technical guidance to align with Imagination’s Vision.  The successful candidate gets an opportunity to work with Imagination’s complex IPs to prototype and add value to it. The role offers great opportunity to provide technical guidance in IP specific performance benchmark,  turn around time enhancement such as OpenGL and OpenCL in case of GPU and performance runs of SPEC2017 for CPU IP. The successful candidate shall work on high end multi FPGA.

You will:

• Interact with cross functional teams and arbitrate the priorities.
• Work with latest FPGA partitioning, synthesis and PAR tools. 
• Digital RTL design using VHDL or Verilog
• Understanding of existing complex platform development environment and suggest and contribute towards enhancement of platforms.
• Understand different IPs and validate on platform.

You'll have:

• Significant experience in RTL design, verification and complex IP FPGA prototyping on custom or industry leader FPGA platforms.
• A proven track record of working with cross functional teams and collaboration as well as exposure to IP validation (FPGA)  flow.
• Strong communications skills with ability to summarize complex problems for executives as well as drill down to details with architects and engineers
• Strong commitment to own/drive IP prototyping project development using well-defined metrics.  
• Work with PM team on execution planning, to track quality metrics, milestone convergence, to assess risk, and ensure plan is on track.

You might also have:

• Understanding of GPU IP.
• Prior experience in CPU/GPU IP prototyping.
