The role
You will become part of a motivated and friendly System Test Execution (aka ‘QA’) team supporting the verification and validation of next generation ultra-low powerGPUs cores and associated Software packages. Your role is to understand a test plan developed by the System Test Development team or Software teams, report results in a timely fashion, and assist with the automation of key test suites.
You will get an opportunity to work with future technology on every stage of the development lifecycle for hardware and software in major application areas. You are going to obtain immense learning opportunities, bringing new graphics and compute cores technologies and solutions to market.
You will:
- Execute software and hardware testing across multiple configurations, platforms (Emulator, FPGAs, Virtualized environments and commercial boards) and operating systems
- Work with our automation team to port manual tests into our automation framework (Python)
- Process automation test results, prepare and present the reports to management and development teams
- Report bugs to the relevant teams and support the debug process
- Discuss the validation results and the priorities of testing with the extended development team

You'll have:
- Good understanding of testing methodologies and agile methodologies
- Strong background in testing for an embedded environment
- Attention to detail while going through requirements, executing test cases or logging bugs.
- Good working knowledge in the following technologies: Python, Linux, Windows and Android
- Analytical approach to help with debugging issues
- Good communication skills both verbal and written
- A passion for technology and a work ethic to match
- Tools : Putty, Jira, WinSCP, Testrail, Confluence, EDA tools
You might also have:
- Experience with automation and continuous integration (CI) tools (Perforce, Jenkins, GIT)
- Knowledge of Graphics APIs (OpenGLES, Vulkan, Open CL) is a plus
- ISEB/ISTQB certificate
- Experience in Android setup
- Experience in running benchmarks
