The opportunity:
Our Finance & Planning team are on the lookout for an experienced Business Analyst, commencing as a 9-month parental leave cover. You will be a key contributor to managing financial and strategic reporting (internal and external), forecasting/budgeting processes across all operating divisions of the Group, and financial analysis of any special projects and corporate activity.

As the successful applicant, some of your responsibilities include:
- Assist in the planning and forecasting timeframes, including prompt escalation for resolution and identifying solutions when and where appropriate
- Analysis of all divisional results against prior forecasts and budgets
- Identifying and driving process improvements, and implementing initiatives to ensure integrity and accuracy of financial reports, forecasts, and analysis
- Assist in the preparation of budgeting and forecasting submissions for the annual strategy retreat and executive management approval
- Liaise with divisions and business units to increase understanding of project status updates and changes against forecast
- Assist with the preparation of financial information and presentation materials, logistics and other requirements to Parent company
- Build effective and reliable relationships with key stakeholders (internal and external) which adds value to the planning cycle
- Subject matter expert in forecasting systems and changes
You may have all or some of the following skills / experiences:
- Strong analytical and business partnering skills
- CA or CPA qualified
- Exposure to the real estate sector highly desirable
- Board reporting experience
- Exposure to financial reporting systems
- Knowledge of SAP, Business Objects, IBM Planning Analytics highly desirable
- Advanced Excel experience
