The Opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our Development Finance team. This role supports the Development business in VIC, delivering large-scale master-planned projects such as Five Farms, Maidstone, and Bradmill Yarraville. You’ll partner with project teams to provide financial insights, manage project accounting, and ensure strong financial outcomes.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with project teams to provide financial insights and resolve finance-related challenges.
  • Manage project accounting, including month-end and year-end close.
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting, ensuring accuracy and identifying financial risks and opportunities.
  • Prepare and review financial reports, delivering insights on project performance, trading margins, and capital.
  • Ensure compliance, overseeing audits, financial statements, and corporate reporting.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to process improvements.

What You’ll Bring

  • Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or Accounting
  • CA or CPA qualification
  • 3+ years’ experience (property industry experience preferred but not required)
  • Experience working in a public or large corporate finance team
  • Strong analytical, communication, and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and a strong attention to detail
  • A proactive and collaborative mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement
