About the role
Helping to create a home residents love, you’ll take pride in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards of the highest level. No two days will be the same in this diverse role. One day your focus could be on cleaning and undertaking stocktake, and the next your focus could be on general laundry services and assisting in building cleaning plans.
What will not change though is your commitment to:
- Ensuring the homes is clean, hygienic, and safe for our residents
- Providing exceptional laundry services to the home and to the residents
- Support residents by providing quality service, displaying respect to dignity and privacy
- Display your all-round high-attention-to-detail skills by ensuring the cleanliness standards are of the highest order
- Record the laundry cleaning scheduled tasks and monitoring process
The traits that will help you succeed
Your ability to operate autonomously while effectively managing and prioritising your workload. As well as:
- The ability to deliver to established health and hygiene standards with a commitment to Work Health and Safety principles
- Exceptional cleaning skills with an eagle-eye for details
- Be an effective collaborator with a can-do attitude
- Excellent communication skills with understanding and empathy
- The ability to implement and manage a hygiene maintenance system of auditing and site inspections for the home
