About the role A comfort to our residents, a leader to the team – being a great nurse is all about how you make people feel.
As an Infection Prevention Control Champion, you'll assist the team in the implementation of the IPC program and ensure a high standard of patient care and caregiver safety at the Home.
Working with our Clinical team you will ensure optimal AN-ACC funding is achieved by ensuring care documentation is completed in a timely manner, is up to date, and accurately reflects resident's care needs.
You’ll also have:
Leadership experience in clinical care A nursing degree and current AHPRA registration Solid documentation skills and knowledge of AN-AAC IPC Qualification/Training
Experience in Aged Care and competence in basic nursing practice
Demonstrated experience in conducting care assessments and developing care plans
Computer literacy and experience using care documentation systems
This is a permanent part time opportunity working a minimum of 8 days a fortnight (Mon-Fri) as an IPC Champion and Care Documentation Lead, additional RN shifts are available to increase hours.
