You will thrive on technical problem solving, innovation, and making a meaningful impact in a large, multi-site environment.

This role follows a hybrid work model with three days a week in our Burnley office, with flexibility in choosing your office days.

  • Monitor and optimise system performance, including preventative maintenance and security patching
  • Manage vendor relationships and drive continuous improvement
  • Contribute to related systems such as nurse call, CCTV, security, and end-user IT support as part of the wider IT Operations team

What we’re looking for

You’re a skilled Telecommunications Engineer who thrives on the challenges of supporting a large, complex, multi-site environment. In this role, you’ll ensure our staff have the reliable tools and technology they need to provide outstanding care, while also supporting the connectivity and communication needs of our residents across our aged care homes. You’ll bring:

  • 5+ years’ experience across telephony systems (on-prem, cloud-hosted, hybrid)
  • Hands-on experience with Access4 (Broadsoft) and NEC Univerge
  • Strong knowledge of protocols such as SIP, RTP, and H.323
  • Familiarity with networking (TCP/IP, MPLS, SD-WAN, QoS, firewalls)
  • Experience in migrating systems to cloud-hosted platforms
  • Strong problem-solving skills, communication abilities and customer focus
  • Project management experience and the ability to work across multiple sites
  • Experience in healthcare or aged care environments will be highly regarded.
