Learner Services Coordinator
Position Summary
- Serves as the main resource for the unit by providing information, prioritizes and directs to the correct source (internal and external); answers questions and helps to resolve problems.
- Processes student stipends on a monthly basis
- Interact with students, faculty, staff, university personnel and visitors in an inclusive, respectful and welcoming manner.
- Makes student and faculty room reservations; make photocopies or prints labels.
- Routes required documentation for travel reservations and complete vouchers; processes vouchers for departmental payments/reimbursements.
- Composes correspondence in response to inquiries in order to provide information and explain established protocols.
- Manages all communication for a diverse range of visitors.
- Aids the office including photo copying, faxing, shipping and filing; will process payments; assists with billing; order and maintain supply inventory.
- Assists unit with event tasks such as printing, scheduling rooms, set up and break down, creating announcements, ordering food, and any additional administrative work.
- Provide administrative support to the Assistant Director.
Minimum Requirements
Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired in the first two or three years in college, technical school or related field; six months to one year of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in customer service or in performing tasks related to the area of employment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
