Position Summary
To install, maintain, diagnose and repair veterinary biomedical equipment and other electronic equipment used in the Veterinary Medical Center; prepare preventive maintenance schedule for necessary equipment; consult with faculty and staff to determine needs of unit in order to assist with purchase of equipment.

Minimum Requirements
Knowledge normally acquired in the first two or three years in college, technical or vocational school in digital/analog electronics and instrumentation; three to five years of related and progressively more expansive work experience in design and fabrication of analog and digital circuits, electro-mechanical components and vacuum systems; sophisticated scientific instrumentation; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Desired Qualifications
BMET and/or CBET or equivalent experience with electronics and /or medical equipment.

Summary of Physical Demands
Physically able to lift and transport equipment; approximately 60lbs individual lift. Occasionally heavy lifting as a team.
