Position Summary

This position is responsible for main office duties, including, greeting guests, handling mail deliveries, sorting mail, shipping packages, processing travel authorizations, arrangements and reimbursements for faculty, staff and students, ordering food, scheduling rooms and setting up for seminars and special functions.  this person will also oversee and schedule the undergraduate student employees.

Minimum Requirements

Knowledge normally acquired through a high school education with coursework in typing and shorthand; one to three years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in word processing, spreadsheet, database, desktop publishing, calendaring and/or presentation software; typing and filing; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Desired Qualifications

Experience working in a busy office, proficiency with Microsoft office programs, experience with MSU EBS operating system and travel policies.
