Position Summary

Job responsibilities (up to 5 duties the candidate will oversee for this project)

The candidate will be responsible for

  1. Isolate transgenics plants and proteins necessary for the analyses
  2. Conduct in plant experiments
  3. Perform measurements and analyses of plant biomass.
  4. Report the results in publications in peer-reviewed journals and presentations at national/internation conferences, as well as PRL meetings and events.

Required Degree

Doctorate -Plant Biology, Cell & Molecular Biology or related field

Minimum Requirements

  • Strong written and oral communication skills to collaborate and communicate effectively with a team of researchers from diverse scientific backgrounds.
  • A track record of publications in quality peer-review journals.
  • Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of plant biochemistry, cell and molecular biology.

Desired Qualifications

  • Expertise in microscopy.
  • Expertise in handling plants
  • Expertise in plant cell biochemistry and genetics
