Music Entrepreneurship Special Topics Instructor

Position Summary

Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses on special topics such as arts entrepreneurship, health and wellness, grant writing and funding research, marketing and public relations, financial management, legal issues, self-management, booking, and touring, creating a music-based entrepreneurial venture, and other business topics.

Position is planned to recur every Fall Semester

Required Degree

Masters -Music, Business or related field

Minimum Requirements

Candidates must have at least two years of part-time or full-time teaching experience at the college level, as well as five or more years of experience as a specific industry professional or a combination of equivalent relevant experience.  Successful applicants must also have experience presenting workshops or lectures on music business, careers in music, health and wellness techniques or entrepreneurship.
