Position Summary
Assistant Professor – Neuroscience of Drug Use and Human Disorders (Online Graduate Course)
The Neuroscience Program in the College of Natural Science at Michigan State University seeks a part-time Assistant Professor for a graduate-level online course in Summer 2025. The course is part of the Neuroscience and the Law Graduate Certificate Program, which explores the intersection of neuroscience, behavior, and legal systems.
This is a temporary, non-tenure track position for instruction of a single course: Neuroscience of Drug Use and Human Disorders. The course will be delivered asynchronously through D2L.

Doctorate -Biology/Social Science
Minimum Requirements
Required Degree:
Doctorate (field related to biological and/or social sciences, with relevant experience in neuroscience- and law-related topics)
Minimum Requirements:
· At least three years of teaching and course development experience at the graduate level
· Experience teaching online through the D2L system
· Experience teaching neuroscience-related law-related content areas
Desired Qualifications
· Demonstrated excellence in online instruction
· Experience or interest in the intersection of neuroscience and legal or policy frameworks
