Position Summary(Basic Job Function)

This is a temporary or an on-call position. Provides professional support. Responsibilities may include general business, science, medical, agricultural or other professional support functions. Term: Temps can work two (2) nine (9) month terms with a week break in service in between and at the end of the second term terminate for three (3) months or switch to an on-call. On-Call allowed to work 1039 hours in any twelve (12) month period.

Unit Position Summary

Responsible for maintenance and operation of theater lighting, sound, and related equipment and systems used in RCAH Theater events, including performances, talks, readings, etc.  Will also help train other RCAH staff to perform this work.  Will develop a resource manual and other materials to document this work.

Desired Qualifications

Knowledgeable about the kinds of events sponsored by an interdisciplinary arts and humanities, living-learning program.  Experience with operating lighting board, an audio mixing board, microphones, projectors, tech comms in a theater setting.

Experience with ETC Ion XE lighting board, Mackie 1604-VLZ3 sound mixing board, and ComSTAR EarTec headsets.
