Position Summary
The African Studies Center seeks applications for a pool of qualified fixed-term tutors for African Languages if the need arises. Please note that a position could be for one or more tutorials, depending on the needs of the department. It is possible that no positions are needed in some semesters. The review of applications is ongoing and continuous.
Responsibilities include working closely with the African Language Teaching coordinator to lead tutorials and attend training meetings and biweekly progress meetings. Tutors will be evaluated by the African Language Teaching Coordinator.

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, such as, but not limited to associate degree and a native language speaker.
- Native or near-native literate speaker of an African Language including, but not limited to: Bambara, Igbo, Twi, Xhosa, Wolof, Yoruba, Zulu.
