Position Summary
The Hoffmann lab is recruiting a motivated, driven, and skilled diverse postdoc (Research Associate) interested in elucidating the contribution of environmental and toxicology induced changes in circadian rhythms in pregnancy outcome.
This 2-year postdoc position is funded by a NIH diversity supplement and requires the applicant to be fulfill one of the categories outlined by NIEHS (https://www.niehs.nih.gov/research/supported/training/supplement)
The research project will involve a combined in vitro and in vivo approach, pharmacological and toxicological screenings, circadian rhythm studies and pregnancy induces changes in the mother, placenta, and fetus, using the mouse as a model.
The Hoffmann lab is part of the Department of Animal Science (https://www.canr.msu.edu/ans/), the Neuroscience Program (https://neuroscience.natsci.msu.edu/) and the Reproductive and Developmental Science Program (RDSP, http://rdsp.canr.msu.edu/) at Michigan State University. These programs offer an exciting and unique environment for performing state-of-the-art biomedical, animal and basic research with top scientists in the field.
