Position Summary
Academic duties include teaching sophomore and junior-level computer graphics courses in the Mechanical Engineering curriculum, including academic-year offerings of ME280, Graphic Communications.
The Mechanical Engineering computer graphics curriculum uses the Siemens NX software platform. The successful candidate must have demonstrated experience training students effectively in the use of this software. ME280, Graphic Communications, is a required 2-credit course that provides students a broad introduction to: technical sketching, two-and-three dimensional visualization, blueprint reading and ASME standards, NX parametric solid modeling, component drawings and complex assembly structures.

Department Statement
The Department of Mechanical Engineering comprises 41 tenure-system faculty, six teaching faculty, and approximately 150 graduate and 1400 undergraduate students. We offer a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering, M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Engineering Mechanics, and an online M.S. in Mechanical Engineering.
