This is a temporary or an on-call position. Provides technical support. Responsibilities may include computer programming or operations; research support; medical patient care; technical equipment maintenance, repair, fabrication or operation; or other technical support functions.

Unit Position Summary

The Department of Pediatrics and Human Development's Division of Neonatology seeks a scientist to assist their stem cell research lab on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will assist with planning, designing, and conducting experiments; operating and maintaining laboratory equipment; assist in the optimization and composition of protocols for assays; conducting data and statistical analysis; reviewing literature; and preparing manuscripts and articles for publication.

The successful candidate is expected to keep current with relevant literature in the field, maintaining knowledge of methods and findings that align with the goals of the laboratory.

Desired Qualifications

B.S. in Biology or a related field.
