Academic Technology Manager
Position Summary
Academic Technology Manager is pivotal in leading and managing the technology support team for the health sciences, including Human Medicine, Osteopathic Medicine, Nursing, and the Office of Health Science. The Academic Technology Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of a team of 10 staff members, ensuring the effective support of 130 classrooms, conference rooms, and computer laboratories across the East Lansing, Macomb, and Detroit campuses. The Office of Health Science, in collaboration with MSU Information Technology, provides primary leadership for strategic, financial, and policy initiatives affecting information technology across the health colleges. The Office of Health Sciences’ mission is to support MSU’s goals of providing education, conducting research, and advancing engagement through innovative technology solutions.

Minimum Requirements
Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing a four-year college degree program; three to five years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in an information technology area related to the duties to be performed; experience with educational technology lifecycle; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
