Position Summary(Basic Job Function)
This is a temporary or an on-call position. Provides technical support. Responsibilities may include computer programming or operations; research support; medical patient care; technical equipment maintenance, repair, fabrication or operation; or other technical support functions.
Unit Position Summary
The Department of Microbiology, Genetics & Immunology is seeking a temporary Lab Aide to work in the laboratory of Dr. Nina Wale performing general laboratory maintenance and assisting the lab manager with experimental duties as needed.
Duties include washing and stocking glassware, media preparation, maintenance of Daphnia and algae cultures, observing and recording relevant details.
Desired Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in biological discipline with 1 year experience working in a lab setting.
