Position Summary(Basic Job Function)

This is a temporary or an on-call position. Provides professional support. Responsibilities may include general business, science, medical, agricultural or other professional support functions. Term: Temps can work two (2) nine (9) month terms with a week break in service in between and at the end of the second term terminate for three (3) months or switch to an on-call. On-Call allowed to work 1039 hours in any twelve (12) month period.

Unit Position Summary

This position will assist the Principle Investigator in various research activities (listed below) and logistics (recruitment of participants, consenting and follow-up). Participant will perform other duties related to project such as scheduling, booking rooms, ordering supplies. 
Some Key Responsibilities Include: 
• Research assistant support to the PI 
• Coordinating and planning research activities
• Engaging with research participants and coordinating follow-up
• Creation of research materials
• Creation and submission of IRB materials
• Assistance with data entry, analysis, and translation
• Assistance with report generation
• Assist with dissemination activities

Desired Qualifications

Applicants should posses research organization and community engagements skills. Applicants should have an interest and experience in community academic research. Applicants should possess data analysis and manuscript writing skills. In addition, applicants should be proficient, in MS Office, Data Management Software Applications, Various Social Media Platforms, and Google Docs.
