Position Summary(Basic Job Function)
This is a temporary or an on-call position. Provides professional support. Responsibilities may include general business, science, medical, agricultural or other professional support functions. Term: Temps can work two (2) nine (9) month terms with a week break in service in between and at the end of the second term terminate for three (3) months or switch to an on-call. On-Call allowed to work 1039 hours in any twelve (12) month period.
Unit Position Summary
This is a temporary, on-call position with at least two opportunities scheduled before September 30, 2025. The individual will serve as a mock kinship caregiver caller, participating in the observation of staff practice behaviors. A kinship caregiver is a relative who provides full-time care of a relative’s child without the biological parents being present.
In this role, the individual will:
- Place simulated calls to the call center and act in the role of a kinship caregiver seeking services and support.
- Follow a provided background scenario and script to ensure consistency across calls.
- Respond verbally to questions and interactions from call center staff
- Complete an observation tool following each call, documenting key behaviors, actions, and whether specific steps were taken by the service provider.
- Provide constructive feedback on the call experience, including communication style, responsiveness, and clarity of information provided.
Desired Qualifications
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Ability to accurately follow a provided scenario and document observations in writing.
- Must be familiar with and able to use videoconferencing software, email, phone, and texting services
- Experience with role-playing, simulated patient work, training exercises, or customer service preferred but not required
- Ability to engage active role play flexibility- off script
- Proficiency in Spanish
