Position Summary(Basic Job Function)
This is a temporary position.
To perform and assist in routine agricultural labor.
Unit Position Summary
Move, load and unload supplies, materials, tools and equipment.
Assist with the planting, cultivating, and harvesting of field crops.
Assist in erecting fences, gates, sheds at related ag facilities
Plow & shovel snow, sand and salt
Assist with the pouring and spreading of concrete, gravel and other structural and paving materials.
Clean barns, sheds, pens
Operate tractors and trucks with attachments such as plows, discs, drags, drills, and cultivators
Lubricate and assist in the routine maintenance of farm machinery and equipment.
Desired Qualifications
One year of satisfactory agricultural work experience
Possession of a valid Michigan vehicle operator license is necessary
Frequent lifting of over 75 pounds is required
