Position Summary
Cleans in the small animal clinic of the Veterinary Medical Center. Uses power sprayers, steam cleaners and other equipment to clean and maintain building and equipment; maintains accurate records and observes animals for signs of illness and reports symptoms to supervisor; assembles and repairs cages and equipment within animal rooms. Frequent lifting of 26-75 lbs.
Minimum Requirements
High school graduation or equivalent combination of education and experience. Working knowledge of animals and their care. One year satisfactory experience as an Animal Caretaker I or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience. Participate in job related in-service education. Willingness to work a flexible shift. Frequent lifting of 26 to 75 pounds.
