This is a temporary or an on-call position. Provides technical support. Responsibilities may include computer programming or operations; research support; medical patient care; technical equipment maintenance, repair, fabrication or operation; or other technical support functions.

Unit Position Summary

Robertson Lab at W.K. Kellogg Biological Station in Hickory Corners, MI is seeking an experienced and skilled research technician for lab and field support. Tasks will include greenhouse gas and carbon measurements, fabricating and testing equipment and infrastructure, sensor network upkeep and installation, field sampling and analysis, general infrastructure upkeep and maintenance, lab analyses, and other work across GLBRC (BCSE, MLE, and scale up sites), LTER, LTAR projects.  Work may involve occasional travel.
