Position Summary

The University Advancement Systems and Solutions Implementation Analyst supports the strategic planning and coordinated delivery of University Advancement initiatives that engage staff across the division. This part-time role focuses on managing project activities, facilitating cross-functional collaboration, supporting organizational change, and ensuring that University Advancement teams are equipped and aligned throughout project lifecycles. The role serves as a connector across University Advancement bridging leadership direction with staff engagement, process improvement, and successful adoption of new initiatives.

 

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Cross-Divisional Coordination -

• Manage project activities for University Advancement initiatives, including scope planning, milestone tracking, stakeholder communication, and readiness assessment across the division.

• Serve as a central point of coordination across University Advancement teams, leadership, functional partners, and external collaborators to ensure project activities are aligned, clearly communicated, and progressing according to plan.

 

Change Management & Staff Engagement -

• Support the use of consistent technical delivery practices across active University Advancement technology projects by coordinating implementation artifacts, timelines, and dependencies.

• Develop and implement change management strategies that support staff across University Advancement in understanding, preparing for, and adopting changes resulting from new projects and initiatives.

• Design and facilitate staff engagement activities such as working sessions, training coordination, and communication planning to build awareness and capacity across University Advancement as projects move forward.

 

Solution Onboarding -

• Coordinate the onboarding of new University Advancement initiatives and projects, ensuring that staff across the division are informed, prepared, and supported as changes are introduced and workflows evolve.

• Lead transition planning efforts to move projects from active delivery into sustainable operations, ensuring University Advancement teams have the resources, processes, and knowledge needed for long-term success.

 

Collaboration -

• Build and sustain productive working relationships across University Advancement, partner with leadership, frontline staff, and external collaborators to advance shared project goals and foster a culture of engagement and accountability.

• Contribute to divisional planning efforts, participate in cross-functional project teams, and support post-launch stabilization by helping staff and stakeholders navigate change and sustain momentum.

 

Position Scope

This is a part-time position embedded within University Advancement, focused on the strategic coordination and change management of projects that primarily affect Advancement Solutions and Innovation staff as well as key business stakeholders across the division. The role operates at the intersection of project leadership, organizational engagement, and process improvement supporting University Advancement’s ability to plan, execute, and sustain impactful initiatives.

Minimum Requirements

Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing a four-year college degree program in Accounting, Business, Human Resources or a field related to the area of employment; three to five years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive experience in a setting which corresponds to the department of employment including accounting, finance, budget development and administration and application of information systems and technology; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience managing or coordinating projects that involved cross-functional teams and broad organizational impact.
  • Demonstrated understanding of change management principles and practices, including staff engagement, communication planning, and organizational readiness.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities, maintaining clear communication and accountability with diverse stakeholders across an organization.
  • Strong interpersonal, facilitation, and communication skills, with the ability to engage staff at all levels and build trust across a complex organization.
  • Formal training or certification in project management, change management, or organizational development (e.g., PMP, Prosci, or equivalent).
  • Experience working in Advancement, development, alumni engagement, or a similarly mission-driven environment within higher education or a comparable complex fundraising organization.
