Position Summary(Basic Job Function)

This is a temporary or an on-call position. Provides technical support. Responsibilities may include computer programming or operations; research support; medical patient care; technical equipment maintenance, repair, fabrication or operation; or other technical support functions.

Unit Position Summary

The Blesh Soil and Agroecosystems Lab at Kellogg Biological Station is seeking a laboratory technician to quantify ammonia captured by field-deployed volatilization traps.

Desired Qualifications

• Strong analytical chemistry skills
• a firm grasp of the nitrogen cycle and how it is affected by agroecological/agronomic management in farming systems
• ability to work independently and complete project objectives in a timely manner.
